Riskhub CEO Shortlisted for Major Award

Sarah Herbison, CEO at Riskhub, has been named as one of six finalists in the Professional of the Year (consultant and contractor) category at the prestigious Women in Housing Awards.

The awards celebrate the leaders, innovators and changemakers across the sector, shining a light on the incredible work carried out by teams and individuals in the past 12 months.

In this time, Sarah has made it her personal mission to transform how social landlords ensure homes are safe at all times. Despite the pressures of leading a business during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarah has ensured Riskhub tackles head-on the key challenges the housing sector faces in safety compliance.

Sarah said: “To be named as a finalist alongside these other impressive women is an incredible honour. I passionately believe in leaving the housing industry better than when I joined it. Improving fire safety and other key areas of compliance is where I feel I can make most impact and will continue working with partners and customers to do this every day.”

Riskhub uses cutting-edge technology, allied to human expertise, to equip housing providers with a simple, powerful platform to smoothly record and manage Fire Risk Assessments and related actions.

Prior to launching Riskhub, Sarah had no background in software development, but she had a huge desire to tackle the widespread inefficiency she saw due to fallible, manual processes in compliance. She built Riskhub from the ground up, inspiring others with her vision. She hires locally and focuses on promoting female talent wherever possible.

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony in Manchester, alongside the annual CIH Housing 2021 event, on 7 September.
